Memorial minus Tiger
A couple of weeks back, Nicklaus came out publically to announce that Tiger Woods WOULD be playing at The Memorial. Now we know that he won’t be there.
I wonder if Tiger, as much as he respects Nicklaus, was sending a little bit of a message telling Jack to not assume on his time and schedule…that or ticket sales were down because TIger wasn’t already confirmed in the field.
Any bets on Tiger at Memphis ? Personally, I doubt it. The last thing he wants to do is strain the knee the week before the US Open. If he had been ready to play this week and he tweeked the knee, he would have 10 days or so to get treatment. If he plays next week and something happens, he would only have a couple of days.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
JLPGA/KLPGA?
Hey, as long as you have their events in the schedule hopper, you may as well start listing them in these kinds of posts. The KLPGA and JLPGA are definitely more competitive than the LET and Futures Tour!
