PrintI am a resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In the metroplex, we have a pretty good range of inexpensive and well-maintained municipal or public courses. It is pretty easy to find afternoon rates under $25, and twilight walking rates under $15.
So far I've played over 15 different courses. I've acquired an interest in golf architecture and strategy from reading the blogs.
In May, I'll be going to Cornwall and hope to play some golf over there. Nothing famous, but maybe a couple of the local courses.
