A couple months ago, sister Kelli Kuehne said that the entire Kuehne clan would gather in Augusta for Trip's farewell to golf. They'd rent a big house, all stay together and party all week.

Also a couple months ago, tennis reporters noticed what appeared to be an engagement ring on Venus' finger, although she claimed she'd had that ring for a long time (and that it wasn't an engagement ring).

A couple days ago, Venus announced a short "leave" from tennis. She's skipping a few tournaments, hoping to return in about a month. She and her spokespeople declined to be specific on the reasons, except to claim that Williams will be undergoing testing for a "minor medical issue." Venus is always battling injuries, so there most likely is a minor medical issue to look into.

But Venus is hangin' with the whole Kuehne family in Augusta this week, and she's taking a short break from tennis ... does anyone hear wedding bells?

I'm saying Hank and Venus are getting hitched some time before Venus returns to the tennis courts. How's that for mongering?
