PrintI just got off the phone with someone very close to Butch Harmon. How close? He once brushed against Harmon in line at the Caesars Palace buffet. And this source has for me the real reasons Harmon dumped John Daly today.
Top 10 Reasons Butch Harmon Dumped John Daly
- Harmon supports an international ban on whaling.
- Daly spends more on beer than Eliot Spizter spends on hookers.
- Daly wouldn't stop asking him, "Have you listened to my CD yet?"
- Daly kept mistaking something else for his Winn grips, if you know what I mean ...
- They can't both fit on the driving range at the same time.
- Daly ate all the Cheetohs.
- During their last session at Harmon's facility, Daly asked Natalie Gulbis - another Harmon client - "Are you a screamer? Because I need somebody to yell 'fore'."
- Even Tripp Isenhour is getting more birdies than Daly these days.
- Daly kept insisting, "But I drive better when I'm drunk."
- Carson Daly seemed like a better investment.

understand that feeling
I've always enjoyed making fun of Daly, but I look at him today much less with amusement and much more with sadness.
Please, John, get yourself together before it's too late.
But, c'mon -- Carson Daly! That's comedy gold!
