Golf Blog Slog
Checking in with some of our friends:
- Golf Babes spotlights Momoko Ueda's blog, which The Squire says is great - even though he can't read it because it's in Japanese.
- Golf For Women magazine has added blogs by some of our favorites: Patricia Hannigan (a k a The Golf Girl) and Kristen Williams (a k a Golf Chick). Check out Patricia's new Red Tee Tales on the GFW site, and Kristen's Swing Thoughts.
- Lots of good discussion of the LPGA's season-opening SBS Open. Armchair Golfer muses on what kind of statement Annika Sorenstam's victory makes. There are also great wrapups (as there always are of LPGA tournaments) from Hound Dog and The Constructivist at Mostly Harmless.
- A couple good posts from Robert Thompson at Going for the Green to pass along. First, check out his review of the new book, "Tommy's Honor: The Story of Old Tom and Young Tom Morris, Golf's Founding Father and Son." Then peruse his post on the future of the Canadian Tour, which might include tournament in the Caribbean, plus a series of events leading into PGA Tour Q-School.
