Preliminary "I Called It" Post: Ryder Cup Captain Edition

The AP is reporting that Corey Pavin is going to be named the 2010 Ryder Cup Captain tomorrow morning at 10am. Since I called it a few months ago and reiterated it again this week, I'm reserving this post for my Steven Colbert "I Called It" graphic tomorrow morning.
In the meantime, editorializing in advance, I think this is a good pick. Corey is a guy that is well-respected among the players for his ability to thrive in this age of the long ball. With a "system" in place that Captain America Paul Azinger instituted, it will be curious to see if Pavin adopts the same system of 8 qualifiers and 4 Captain's Picks, as well as the pod system.
