Ratings Pain: Fall Series Edition
We may not have Thomas Bonk anymore to report on golf's TV ratings each week. Thomas, you're welcome to post here anytime, but I can't pay you. While I await Mr. Bonk's reply, Doug Ferguson gives us a glimpse into the ratings for the Fall Series.
Sure, television ratings are abysmal (anywhere between 0.2 and 0.3), which is to be expected during football season. Then again, they weren’t that much better a few years ago when these tournaments were the final stops on the way to the Tour Championship.
That said, do you think that making any alterations to the Fall Series - not only ones I have suggested, but any you have also - would help the ratings? Or is the Fall Series cursed to have the same ratings as a Simpsons repeat in Baltimore?

Hellllooooo - McFLYYYYY !!!
If .2 and .3 is what is EXPECTED – the number isn’t “abismal”, butthead. (guess what movie was on over the weekend) :-)
Let’s see – improve ratings…unless the caddies are replaced with topless models – it ain’t gonna happen. Why ? Because FOOTBALL IS STILL THERE !! Sheesh. (they really pay Dougie for this stuff ?)
