Big John Daly is Close in Hong Kong
I stayed up late to watch some of the live coverage of the Hong Kong Open on the Golf Channel. Daly is at -4, four out of the lead of four players - including Oliver Wilson. I saw Wilson play a good part of his round and he looked awfully sharp. Rory McIlroy is in there too at -6.

That’s JD as in John Daly, not the other JD, which he needs to leave on the shelf.
Seriously though, I’m pulling for him. I hope this is a sign that he’s salvaging his career. If he can just avoid a blow-up and hang in for a strong finish, he has a chance of making a comeback.

His biggest enemy
May very well be having time off. It seems that is what leads him to get into bad things. When he is busy playing, he doesn’t have time.
