Advice to Nationwide Tour Grads
When I saw this piece on Golf Observer this morning, it read with this lead...
November 11, 2008 9:58 am - PGATOUR.com - PGA Tour
Craig Dolch with a bit of advice for all you Nationwide Tour grads.
Obviously, I thought this was going to be a short column entitled, "Wear Sunscreen." I was disappointed when it turned out not to be. But, Craig Dolch instead offers some tips to the N'Wide Tour grads about how not to mess up their first year on Tour. (Unfortunately, it loses some luster when you realize that probably over half of the graduates of 2008 had a PGA Tour card at some point.)
Still, it's good advice. But it's not as good as Baz Luhrmann's.

excuse me Mr Dolch..
…but how does a ROOKIE call on veterans they have “developed relationships with” ? They are ROOKIES.
some of this is really good advice – especially about the caddies and equipment – but that equipment cash can really go a long way towards keeping a season rolling. it can be a tough call.
not sure how Dana Quigley got into the discussion. He didn’t play every week during his PGA Tour career – just on the Champions Tour where they only play 3 rounds and there is no pressure of a cut.
