What a Difference a Weekend Makes
I go out of town for the weekend and we all of a sudden have a new world number two in Sergio Garcia, and Davis Love III has now transformed from struggling to keep his card to exempt for life. Ji Yai Shin is still kicking ass. Before I start getting into posting news, etc, what were your thoughts on the weekend that was?

I was just proud of Allison Fouch – the only non-Asian to finish in the top 10.
Where the heck did DLIII come from all of a sudden ? Is that foot injury finally healed ? Will he limit his play to flat courses ? :-)

Haha
Just amazing how his game came into form around this time of year. Weaker competition helps, but also, you can see his confidence growing. Good to have him back in the winner’s circle.

-25 is...
…- 25. They may have been playing on a couple of resort courses – with 8’ as the biggest elevation change on the course – but you still have to golf your ball pretty well to make that many putts.
I followed him 2 yeara ago at The Tour Championship when he got off to a bad start and ended up playing Friday through Sunday by himself (only 29 were in the field thanks to Mickelnuts). It was tough watching him struggle knowing that foot was causing him some real agony on the hills of East Lake.

I won't ever put down -25
That’s lighting up a course.

and how about...
Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey ? He had to win to keep his card outright – but finishing a shot behind DLIII wasn’t too bad.
Did you notice that he switched to white gloves instead of black ? Changing his image ? :-)
