Waggle Room is on Twitter
I've officially started our Twitter page today. What is Twitter? Basically, it's a service that let's people post quick hit links to things and update their thoughts. It's kind of like facebook, blogging, and SMS messaging all in one. The link will be on the sidebar, too. Check it out!

Twitter is a...
…microblogging platform. You follow people and see their updates and they follow you and see yours. Some people use it almost like an instant messaging platform. Others drop nuggets of wisdom. Others use it to promote blogs, products, or businesses. It’s limited to 140 characters so it requires a little creativity to get thoughts composed. It’s also really good for sparking people’s interest and diverting it back to a full-blown discussion somewhere like Waggleroom.
It’s really up to you how you want to use it, but if I may offer an opinion, I think your extensive knowledge of professional golf and grasp on current events would make for some interesting and informative tweets.
The same could be said for most of the regular Waggleroom contributors.

DE, sounds like a good deal
I’m going to have to learn the best way to use it. I’m hoping for some quick links, some quick comments, and a little self-promotion for Waggle Room :)

so...
…there are no “rooms” like Yahoo or AOL – you just have your little page up to write on and whoever has your name on the Follow list can see what you’re writing ?

That's pretty much it
When you go to your Twitter home, you’ll see messages from all the people you follow. You can direct messages at specific Twitterers by including the user name preceded by an @. Other followers will still see them, but it brings a little order to the chaos.
