Did you know there's a cocktail named after Jim Furyk?

You do now. It's called Furyk's Best Ball and it's built on Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky. What's the connection? Furyk is the new "representative" for Johnnie Walker Black Label.

And if he's been drinking enough of it to have a cocktail named after him, well, now I understand why he swings that way (I kid! I kid!). Actually, a PR rep with Johnnie Walker says that Furyk his own self helped develop the cocktail. Nights and nights of testing, I'm sure.

If you'd like to pour yourself a Furyk's Best Ball cocktail, here's the recipe:

Furyk's Best Ball
• 1.5 oz. Johnnie Walker Black Label
• 1 tbsp. honey
• 3 oz. unsweetened tea
• 1 wedge lemon
Preparation: Add Johnnie Walker Black Label, honey, and unsweetened tea; stir and serve over ice; garnish with lemon wedge.

The Arnold Palmer also includes tea - half lemonade and half iced tea is the original version of the drink, so-named because Palmer would order both drinks and then mix them together. The "grown-up" version adds vodka to the mix.
