Winless Wie

Hope you are right, but my crystal ball says Wie is winless for '08. Hope the recent talk about "no mens' events" is correct, and that the focus will be on playing when ready and healthy. Hard to even talk about a "come back" for one so young, but a return to any winner's circle would be just that for her. May your stocking be stuffed with drives in the short grass and putts finding the dark.

...I have to agree with Aces. She still doesn't seem to be able to make up her mind and thinks she can do everything. She's still with Leadbetter. And the last time I checked - injuries like the ones she claimed to have require rest and rehab - not the 2 hours of time on the range every day she was reported to be putting in. Two - three - or four tournament rounds are less stressful on the wrists.

My wager would go more towards a win column dominated by Ochoa, a resurgent Annika, Pedersen (when her back heals), a renewed effort by the Korean contingent - maybe a couple from Creamer and/or Pressel. Not many spots left for Wie in her limited number of starts.
