Nick Lachey and Jimmie Johnson Walked Into a Bar ...

I've got no punch line. But it's a pretty good set-up.

The story is that good friends Lachey - the boy-band, used-to-be-married-to-Jessica-Simpson guy - and Jimmie Johnson - the NASCAR star who injured himself falling off the roof of a golf cart - have formed the Super Skins Celebrity Golf Classic, to be played for charity in Scottsdale, Ariz., around the Super Bowl.

I normally wouldn't be too interested in anything involving Nick Lachey (now, Joey Fatone - that's another matter altogether), but this is for charity, and Lachey has put up $125,000 of his own money to help build the purse. (Johnson has done the same.) So goon on ya, Nick. You've always seemed like a nice guy. (Don't worry, Joey, you're still my No. 1!)

You know, Nick, a celeb you might want to get to play is that Tony Romo guy. If your ex-wife keeps attending his games, he won't have anything else to do on Super Sunday anyway.
