Maybe Asia Isn't Such a Good Place for Mickelson After All
High heat - a whopping 91 degrees - and high humidity at the Singapore Open gave Phil Mickelson an upset tummy, and caused his caddie, Jim "Bones" Mackay, to drop the bag for the first time in their 15 years together:
While the temperatures reached 33 degrees Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit), which is normal for the city-state, the high humidity took its toll on both caddy Jim Mackay and the world number two, exacerbating stomach upsets they both had.
"My caddy went down today," said the American star, explaining why his father-in-law Gary McBride was carrying the bags for him from the sixth hole onwards.
