• One of our favorite bloggers has long been The Golf Girl, the "fun, flirty, fashionable golf blog." Now The Golf Girl is hitting the airwaves, producing videos. Check 'em out at Golf Girl's new site, Golf Girl TV.

• Texas Golf, written by Waggle Room diarist "Bogey McDuff," takes a look at Golf.com's ranking of the Top 10 Texas golfers. And finds a couple things to disagree with.

• My Daily Slice argues that golf is too gentlemanly. What the sport really needs, JFB says, is a good ol' NASCAR-style throwdown. Fisticuffs on the fairways.

• Remember my suggestion for a match-play tournament to conclude the FedEx Cup season? Grouchy Golf gets on the bandwagon. Which makes two of us. Not much of a band. Or wagon.

• Golf Chick reminds us that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and writes about how Cristie Kerr and Morgan Pressel focus on fund-raising yearround.

• Speaking of Cristie Kerr, Golf Babes shares a photo of the golfer looking all formal.

• Robert Thompson at Going for the Green writes about The Rock Golf Club in Muskoka, Ontario. The Rock was named Best New Course in Canada by Golf Digest in 2004, yet just three years later is undergoing an overhaul due to major problems all over the course.

• Nick Faldo is taking incoming fire from some European Tour players and at least one past Ryder Cup captain over the choices he's made so far leading up to his 2008 captaincy. Eagle Par Birdie fills us in.
