Golf Blog Slog
You know, the end of December isn't the best time to launch a golf blog, I've realized. There's just not much going on. So now, on Day 2 of Waggle Room's young life, is as good a time as any to introduce what I hope will be a regular feature here: the Golf Blog Slog.
Periodically I'll post a roundup of some of the best posts from other golf blogs, and link you to those posts.
So here we go:
- The Golf Girl presents her Best of the Best of 2006 selections, and says that she's gotten some grief from some for having the gumption to offer her own "awards." Patricia says, "Some called it pretentious, or just lame and others said it was self-centered crap." Self-centered crap? Isn't that pretty much the definition of blogging?
- Eat Golf has a list of links to videos he's posted on YouTube from his trip to Tiger's Target World Challenge.
- Golf Babes is posting photos from the rarely seen Paula Creamer calendar.
- Golf Blogger's "Ridiculous Golf Item of the Week" is a hatband that has a ... well, you'll just have to take a look.
- Texas Golf writes about the newly formed Golf Foundation of Texas.
If you're a golf blogger and are particularly proud of one of your posts, send me the link at stu_mulligan - at - yahoo. I might use it in a future edition of Golf Blog Slog. (And please add Waggle Room to your blogroll.)
